To/from Padang Bai
The ferry service leaves Sampalan at 11:00 and 14:00 and costs 16,000 rupiah.
A speedboat service leaves a couple of times in the morning from Sampalan to Padang Bai, costing 200,000 rupiah one way and taking 45 minutes.
There is a separate slowboat service from Kusamba near Padang Bai. Having seen the overloaded state this boat was in when it arrived at Toyo Pakeh, we don’t consider this to be a safe service and do not recommend using it. Caspla Bali also run speedboat services from near here.

To/from Nusa Lembongan
One public boat daily goes from Toyo Pakeh to Jungut Batu and back. The fare is 50,000 rupiah and the trip takes around an hour, leaving at 06:00. The boat may arrive near the base of the yellow bridge to Nusa Ceningan depending on the tide and other random factors that foreign visitors are never aware of.
If you happen to miss the regular boat, sampans go every now and then from Toyo Pakeh to the mangroves on Nusa Ceningan. Prices are variable and will depend on if you need to charter the whole boat (likely) and also the mood of the boatman (is he asleep?) We paid 100,000 rupiah on one occasion, 60,000 on another. The trip takes 20 to 30 minutes.
